Dr. Allison Kelliher is an Alaska Native physician originally from Nome Alaska. She is Koyukon Athabascan. In her former practice as a family physician, Dr. Kelliher supported health systems and individuals. She has transitioned to public health and research, including community outreach and consultation including focus groups and convening meetings with key informants.
She has a background in biomedical research and received her undergraduate BS in Indigenous Medicine from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (2001). Dr. Kelliher is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine (2005) and the Alaska Family Medicine Residency (2009). She has a breadth of experience having practiced full spectrum family medicine in addition to serving her community as the first and only Tribal Doctor, MD at Southcentral Foundation where she worked as a traditional healer.
She is the founder and former director of the American Indian Collaborative Research Network (AICoRN), a Practice-Based Research Network at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and served on the Board of Directors for the Association of American Indian Physicians. She served as Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Indigenous Health and taught at the University of Washington WWAMI medical school as adjunct faculty.

Stephen has a background in business consulting and operations. He served as Network Operations Lead for a rural telecommunications company serving the remote island of Adak, located on the Aleutian Chain of Alaska and inhabited by fewer than 200 residents.
He has a strong interest in medical equity, especially for underserved rural populations, along with healing modalities such as the use of plant based medicine and community support for mental and physical well-being.
